Hello. I would like to direct my question to a SPIRIT FILLED BORN AGAINCHRISTIAN ONLY!
I had a dream about a fella from Poland last year and the Lord revealed everything about him. I also saw a Hospital and heard a name. It was so vivid that I even called the Hospital to locate him but I discovered later on that the Hospital was only a very relevant symbol. The name was wrong.

Anyway, I didn't pray about the dream, I just pondered and pondered who this man could be. I did not find him particularly attractive but there were significant things about him like he was tall, skinny, blond, Polish and others things that were revealed to me.

Prior to that dream I saw a face of a fella staring at me, but he was wearing a cap. I stated to my friend 'Ihave seen my husband but his head is covered which means he is unsaved'?

I saw this fella again in a quick interaction in aonther deam where he was wearing a whit t shirt and spoke to me. In this I was very happy but he had no emotion. Again specific things the Lord revealed to me.

A few months later, the last event happened exactly as I saw it. He was wearing a white t shirt, we spoke etc. Then every single thing I saw about him in the other dreams were true. He was exactly the same person but not born again.

He gave hs life within a week but during the time of our fellowship I fell head over heels for him, with no initial desire or intention.

We got on well and liked each other but I was too pushy not giving him time.

The Holy Spirit warned me not to show Him affection or get close etc. (He came from a tuff life and God was showing me His attention to draw his soul).

Eventually he became very strong in the Church and our relationship fizzeld due to him being younger than me and behaving slighty immature, uncaring and distant.

The Lord continued to tell me to pray for him and show unconditional love and be patient but never actually revealed if he would be my husband.

We have common interests and I have been saved for years and I am older/to me these are contrary factors so patience is important as its not impossible, but I would still lke advise on this, could he be the one?

Also, whilst I was looking at him the other day the Lord spoke and said I was looking at his physical appreance which immediately put me in check again.

He finds me attractive but Marriage seems a long way to him, by his admittance. I have never liked any one since being in Christ? I just don't know...

Seems that there are no "born-agains" here who like to answer you.
I am not born again, so I won't answer your question neither.
But I seriously suggest you stop drinking coffee or whatever you normally drink at night, and change to Horlicks or chocolade. This will hopefully let you sleep soundly, instead of having all these strange dreams.
Are you really serious here with this post?

Ciao!

First NO, NO and NO, if God is giving you a message in a dream it is going to be clean and understood, OR, he is going to give you a very strong christian who will be able to tell you what it meant.

Often we confuse our deams which are based on our hopes, dreams and ideas as to what we believe someone is telling us what to do.
Also almost always a dream from God is going to be something for the benefit of the church, something for the welfare of another. It is not going to be a dating service.

A person is also going to find that a "word" from God will not go against the teachings of God in the bible, so he is not going to YOKE someone with a non beleiver

I think you are confusing fortune telling using God, with that of the lady with a crystal ball almost.

*** my personal feelings based on being a born again Christian over 30 years and having worked with those that did get proven dreams from God and those that got proven words from God, this does not really fit what happens when God shows or tells you something.

I agree.. there is not many "born-agains" around... But I guess that dreams COULD have some interretations.. but not all the time.. . May be you would like to meet someone and you keep thinking of him.. and dream about it.. that's all.

Jesus said in the Bible that once you die you go to heaven and stay there until the day or judgement before he creates the new world. So yeah there wouldent be re born people. But you never know God might be using that dream as a vision of what is to come, or what is happening now... thats for him to show you and for you to discover. But God is also telling you that not to get involved in love for him right now because obviously there is some stuff he wants him to get off him spiritually like maybe he was in witch craft or he is doing things not of the Lord that he would have a hard time quitting and he needs the time to get his act up before he can become what he wants him to in your life. Maybe you guys will just be friends and you had him come into your life so you could help bring him to the Lord. God usues us in many ways, expect the unexpected. But don't believe anything anyone tells you to, I suggest to see a pastor about the dreams you have been having. Write everything that happens in the dreams down in a journal or diary so you can let the pastor read them and let the Lord descern them and define what they mean to you spiritally. The answer to all of the deams could be as clear as water, you just might not know what the things represent in your dream. Be sure to write in your journal what feeling you get towards the things that happen or the feeling you get that whatever it is represents. If you don't have a pastor you'd want to share that info with go to see a prophit that goes to a church meeting thing in your town and get prayer with the phophit and have him explain it to you. I will pray that God will let you know the right and full message of what he wants you to know and that your next dream will be clearer or add onto the dreams you have had. Bless you and I hope this works for you.

Hello. Thanks for your insightful answer.

Being 'Born again', of the Spirit of God is the pinnacal point of faith in coming to Christ Jesus as written in John 1:13.

If you read the book of John in the Holy Bible you will see that the only way to go to Heaven is to be Born of the Spirit (John 3:3) - 1 John chapter 5 vs 1 and vs 11 explain it more.

Anyway, if you do not believe this or accept Christ by faith you can't be saved and go to Heaven as you have stated, if you do not accept the Holy Spirit, forgiveness of sins and Christs death and sacrifice.

In Christ, people who die and go to Heaven receive their reward and heavenly Mantions as promised in Luke 23:43 and John 14:2-3.

The people waiting on earth (1 Thessalonians 4:17-18) will be caught up with them and the Lord in His coming.

Anyway I could go on but God expects us to look at the Bible with Literal understanding before He gives us the Revelation. Or we, like Nicodemus, will never understand the concept of being Born again. You can only have this understanding by His grace and Spirit.

Thanks for your contribution once again.

God Bless You.

Ok,

Well I am born again and just read this. First of all.. wow! I don't get dreams like that... EVER. Second... the only thing you can do is follow what the Lord says. If you are to show him unconditional love then that is what you do. The Bible says not to be unequally yoked.. so if you fell madly in love with him before he got saved... that was YOUR bad. Is he the guy for you?. I don't know but if he is CHILL.. it will come to pass.

First I am born again and know many who work and have dreams and visions. Above all things, you will never be told to do anything that is not according to God's word, and normally the dreams will either be completely clear or God will provide you the person directly in your life to tell you what it means.

Satan often, very often uses some of the same ideas to temp and to push people into doing wrong things, So unless what is being told you has been confirmed by a born again person in your life, or unless it has been very clean, it is not smoething you need to do.

I am a born again Christian from the 1980's and now a secular humanist.

Dreams are no more messages from God than a good bowel movement is.

Dreams are one of the *normal functions* of the brain, one function can reveal emotions you have hidden from yourself... the language is symbols is used to represent areas you are concerned about in your life. Just a few words about a complicated topic.

Best wishes,

Choux,

The Lord used dreams in the O.T. to speak to people. He did in the N.T. as well with Joseph. Does he do that today? He can but I don't know that he does. He speaks to us through his Word today. One thing I do know... he isn't ever going to tell anyone in a dream, vision or whatever ANYTHING that does not line up with HIS WORD. PERIOD. That is all I know for sure.

And, "God" spoke to Osama bin Laden through his dreams, too... sorry, but the BELIEF that dreams are messages from god is an ancient superstition of illiterate people.

Why aspire to believe what illiterate people thought?
