If you miss a period does that mean you did not ovulate?
Do you have to ovulate to get a period?

No not necessarily.

You can have a period without ovulating... this is called an anovulatory cycle and can happen for a number of reasons. The bleeding you have with your period is from your body preparing to receive a fertilized egg... no egg (whether it's one that didn't get fertilized or one that was never released) you have your period and the cycle starts all over again.
You can also ovulate but have no period for a few reasons... this surprises many women who find themselves pregnant again not long after having just had a baby!
You may miss a period now and then for no apparent reason... some women are naturally irregular with their cycles, which I guess makes that "regular" for them.

My period is 10 days late, does that mean my period could come any time, or will it come for 28 days from when it was meant to start last month.

No one can tell you for sure, it could come any day it could start next month, you could miss another all together. Is there any possibility of pregnancy?

Is there any possibility of being pregnant? If not, it could just be off this month... you might skip it altogether, or it may show up later than the norm. Are your cycles normally 28 days? Are you very underweight, very active physically with exercise, been ill lately? These are some of the more common reasons for someone to have an off cycle now and then. If you are normally quite regular, see what happens next month. If that one doesn't show either, and you can't attribute it to any particular reason, give your doctor a call.

There is a chance I could be pregnant, but I took a test and went to the doc and both tests were . I was a week late then
I'm very healthy. Normal weight, good diet.regular weight but not intensive.
I'm not stressed nothing like that,
I have a little hay fever.
I'm very regular with a 28 day cycle. So I really don't know what's up

Did the doctor do a blood test or a urine test?

Yes she did a urine test .not a blood test. It was negative.
She told me to come back if it had not come by the end of the month.
Why do you think she wants to see me again?

A urine test is not always accurate, it sometimes takes a while to get a positive result when taking a urine test. A blood test is much more accurate. You could try a home pregnancy test, buy a two pack, use it first thing in the morning, if the result is still negative then go back to the doctor for a blood test.
Good luck.

Still no period, 2 weeks late now
Did another test still negative.
Do you think I should go doc for a blood test.
Or do you think all this pregnancy stuff is in my head?

You could just be skipping this month, but you might want to ask about a blood test so you know for sure.
You can't tell by hcg levels as to whether it is a boy or girl as the range of what is considered normal varies a great deal to begin with.
