How do I remove Yahoo with BT Communicator. I removed it from the Add/Remove programmes, but every time I open the computer it keeps coming up on my desktop. I have tried various ways, but all to no avail. Help would be greatly appreciated.

What is BT Communicator?

Also, is it Yahoo Messenger you're trying to remove?

I see. Wow, info is scarce on a search for "bt communicator"AND"remove yahoo".

I hope someone in UK can help with this one, Ken.

Hi,
You might have to resort to stopping it from booting up when you boot up the computer. You could then use the Registry Edit to remove it from the Registry. If you would like info in Editing the Registry, please post back.
Meantime, if you wish:
Go to Start/Run and type in MSCONFIG
Click on the StartUp tab, top right.
On the left will be all the programs that start running when you turn on the computer.
You can scroll down the Left hand side, looking at all the names. If you see one with BT on it, you can left click on it, removing the checkmark. Then click on Apply and Ok, and re-boot the computer.
This will stop it from starting up.
If you uncheck something you need, you can always go back and recheck it.
Best of luck.
