When playing Madden 08 I've found that in franchise mode, usually around 4 or 5 seasons in, I can't get past a certain game in the preseason which is to say that I can't sim it, supersim it, or play it. I always sim through the preseason, but inevitably at some point I will hit a game that contains my selected team and I can't do anything with it, which effectively shuts down the franchise because I cannot continue past that point. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe send it back saying its faulty, and get a different copy, presuming you've recently bought it
