Hey. I have a 93 Ford Taurus SHO. Lately, Ive noticed that the Tranny shifts hard going up a slight grade, or when I'm behind somebody who pulls out slow. Now, when I floor it, or I pull out normal, It don't do it. I'm just wondering what would cause it? It's an automatic by the way.

Any input will be greatly appreicated(sp?)... I know I butchered that word. Lol

SHOs are tough on transmissions. Try changing the fluid and filter and using Mobil 1 Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF, which is available at WalMart. You may notice a big improvement. I use this product in my 2000 Taurus, with the 3.0L Duratec engine. It made a big difference over regular Mercon V in my Taurus.
