I'm doing a report on convective winds and I need to explain in it plain terms. Any help would be great. Thank you very much.

Have a read of this, it is in pretty plain english
CONVECTIVE WINDS (http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:E-d3Yjti3vgJ:training.nwcg.gov/pre-courses/S390/FireWeatherHandbook/pms_425_Fire_Wx_ch_07.pdf+convective+winds&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=uk&client=firefox-a)

Try testing your explanation on somebody who doesn't understand the subject or is a little younger than you. Put in diagrams to help explain your answer- a picture is worth a thousand words.

We can't do homework on this site but I can review what you have done and give pointers.
