Hello Cassie:

I don't know what you want to do. If you want to fight the charge, don't let your husband talk to the cops. If he wants to try to deal... Well, I wouldn't do that... If it were me, I'd have the best criminal lawyer I could find meet the cops there.

Hurry, quickly now...

He will be given a date and time to go to the police station to be fingerprinted and photo'ed. It is possible to get a first offender agreement, also in Canada there is normally a civil payment to the store that is charged.

So if he wants to plead guilty, he will use his attorney to work out a good plea deal.

But a lot will depend on what he does tonight, if he confesses, writes a statement, not a lot he can do, if he does not give a statement, waits for attorney, then listen to what his attorney says
