In my master bathroom there's a smell and I can't find it. I have changed the seal under the toilet, Pour clorox down the toilet, shower, both sinks and the whirlpool flush it out the next morning and the smell is still there. The two bathroom is fine, one upstairs and the half is downstairs. I have never had the lines snaked out, could this be the problem or the vent on the roof is clogged? I need help.Than you.

Run a few gallons of water down each drain to make sure the traps have water in them. If that doesn't help, place a plunger over each drain so that it seals out any escaping sewer gases. Sounds like something is not vented properly, and the trap is getting sucked out. Do you ever hear any garlgling when an upstairs toilet is flushed? That is a sure sign of an improperly or non vented pipe.

I think Manaround is going in the right direction but tell us more about how each fixture drains. Do all fixtures drain well? Does this bath have an exhaust fan?

My next step would be to rod the vent from the roof. Use enough length to reach from roof to basement floor plus 20'. Flush with water once you are done.
