Hi,
I got US B1 visa for 10 Yrs multiple entries. Now, some other company sponsored H1 for me. I need go for H1 visa stamping shortly. If I got my H1 Visa, will my B1 visa get invalid?

If so, Please let me know in which of the below cases my B1 visa gets invalid.

a) As soon as I get H1 visa, B1 gets invalid.
b) Even if I get H1 visa, B1 will get invalid only after entering into US with H1 visa.

Thanks,
Hari

B-1/B-2 visa stamp in the passport is valid unless it is canceled or revoked by the consular officer or by the inspector at the port of entry. Generally, if one is entering the U.S. to work for the employer, then one enters on the H1B status. On the other hand, if one has completed the H1B project and has returned home, then one again may use the B-1/B-2 to enter the U.S. as a tourist or business visitor.
