My daughter needs a new toilet and tub. The floor around the toilet is so soft we are afraid to use it. I know we will have to replace the floor or put in a completely new one on top of the old one. Putting in a complete new floor is recommended in a book on repairing Manufactured Homes. The toilet pipes will sit below the new floor and I need to know how to make them level with the new floor. Also We will need to reinforce the floor under the tub/shower. Any help would surely be appreciated! Thanks, Ellen

To bring the flange up to floor level purchase a set of flange extenders,(see image).
Also We will need to reinforce the floor under the tub/shower Is it the sub-floor or the floor of the tub that you wish to shore up? If it's the tub I use mortar or cement and puddle it under the tub area to firm up the tub floor when you step into it. Good luck, Tom
