I have three wires plus copper wire coming out of the ceiling. Black, Red w/ elec. Tape and white w/ elec. Tape. In the switch box there is three wires. Black, red and white. I want to install a switch that controls both the fan and light. The switch has four wires. Black, red, yellow and green. Im not sure where to start.:confused:

The black, red, and yellow on the switch, what are they labeled? What was installed previously (fan, switch) and how were they wired?
