Someone is selling the above AC... the seller says it covers 4000 sq ft. my house is 1600 sq ft. It was bought in 1994 and used for a little while or not at all. The person bought a new furnace that had ac attached. I need a new pump whatever in the attic and the outside unit. Do they sell pumps that would fit the 1100... or as in a previous transmission... does it not matter. I'm a dope here so bear with me. Is there a specific type pump I'd need to buy to match the 1100 outside ac? Is my electric bill going to go over the top with a machine like the xe1100? Anything anyone can tell me. The unit I'm buying.. I have to buy before tomorrow night or someone else is going to buy it. It cost 300. I think he said it was six feet high. Almost bigger than my house.

I hope your house is taller than 6 feet. I think you are talking about buying a condenser, that would be the "outside unit", and my guess is that it is way too big for your house. It would cool your house but would never remove the humidity, buying the unit would be a waste of money. I think you would be better off hiring a pro to come in and evaluate your system and give you a quote to do the job right.
