I need some help...
I am having a yellowish greenish vaginal discharge with a fowel smell and sometimes it has blood in it. Its kind of like a mucus texture. I am not sure what it may be. I have also had a lot of blood loss today. Its not a period I can tell the difference Its like it just drains out of me when I sit on the toilet or open my legs. I had a abnormal papsmear about a year ago and never went back about it and I have had this discharge for about a couple of months and I thought it would just go away but it hasn't. I am waiting on insurance and then I am going to get it checked out but that won't be until next month. Does anyone have any ideas? Please help

I would say that you have a serious infection , you are lucky that it has not entered your blood stream, or one of your vital organs. Insurance or not you should get to a doctor asap!

You had an abnormal pap smear a year ago and have done nothing about it? You know, doctors DO take cash, check and credit cards in addition to insurance. Believe it or not their job is to see you healthy. How can you justify waiting for insurance with even a possibility of a serious infection and/or cancer? Get to a doctor now, don't wait for insurance. Perhaps the treatment can wait until your insurance kicks in, but don't wait that long for a diagnosis!

I can't believe this has been going on for months! Are you insane? The possibilities of what this could be are endless. You could have a venereal disease. Some types of VD cause infertility, some madness and even death. With the bad pap it's possible it's cancer, but with what your describing it's probably a severe infection. You need help immediately!Don't wait a minute longer, your putting your health at risk.Infections can cause sterility also. RUN don't walk to the nearest ER.

First, you need to see a doc which you already know? Check out std's specifically gonorrea and check out bv bacterial vaginitis. But I'm no doc I just like to read and become educated. Both can come with a fishy odor.

HI.. I am a nurse, so I have seen this many times. Those symptoms describe 2 STDs. You need to see your doctor or go to a health department ASAP. YOu should also tell any recent partner or partners they should also be treated. Don't be embarrassed, it is VERY common.

Well you would have to have sex in the first place and I have not had sex in about 4 months so I think that's out of the question. My doctor ran tests and told me they came up fine. She told me that it was a liquid filled cyst and that it would do that.

It sounds to me like you have a horrible vaginal bacterial infection called bacterial vaginosis. I have never heard of it being that bad though, most people go to the doctor because of the smell before it gets that bad. I have had bacterial vaginosis before and it's a pretty embarrassing infection. You have to go get that cleared up immediately before it causes some sort of irreversable damage.

Std's usually take a couple months before any symptoms show up. Never assume that because you haven't had sex in a few months that you are in the clear. It only takes one untrue partner to ruin your sexual health!

Do you douche? Douching is a known cause of BV.
