I am a grandmother of a 2 year old. I am currently taking care of him. My Son is in the military and stationed in Alaska. He is getting a divorce and his wife is living in Wyoming. She was with a foster care family for 5 years before she married my son. The foster mother says that she is going to adopt her, and that when she does she is going to ask for legel rites to see her son,my grandchild. What I want to know is this possible for her to do this? Does she have any legal rites at all.
The foster mother wants to adopt my sons wife, so that she can try to take the grandson. The wife is 20.
