Um... this is a little embarrassing, but, I have two small itching bumps on my vagina lips. They are on the outer side and one of them is quite low and near my anus... I looked up herpes symptoms on the internet and it said that usually a break out of herpes is in a cluster of bumps... so does anyone know what this might be? I thought it might be from a yeast infection, but I just treated a yeast infection about 5-6 months ago... is it possible to get them that close together?

Yes, you can get yeast infections that close together. As far as the bumps go, do you think they could be from shaving (if that's a possibility)? If it's something that you can't explain I would highly recommend making a visit to the doctor...

I have not shaved... and they don't burn or hurt... just itch...

Yeah, I would definitely go to the doctor.

I don't risk things like that. I just go straight to the doctor. Your health is the most valuable thing you have.

Planned parenthood. They give low cost paps. If you are very low-income you can sign up for a program where the state pays for your care at Planned Parenthood.

My name is Brittney, about a month ago I had this bump outside of my vagina it was red it looked like a pimple. I was discharging more than usual. (no odor, it was regular)I went to my doctor because my throat was killing me. She told me I had strep throat and a mild fever of 100 she took a look at this bump I explained to her that when I sit it doesn't hurt when I stand or walk it doesn't hurt. Only when the pee touches it, it hurts or water. When I wash down there using soap it doesn't hurt either. Within a week this weird little red bump went away and I went back to discharging regularShe said it did not look like herpes but could possibly be hpv. I went to a gyn that my co-worker recommended and she took my blood and for some reason I was tested positive for genital herpes type 2... I've been researching like a nutcase and all the symptoms that they're talking about I haven't received. It was just that ONE red bump.. there was no white puss, it didn't pop, it wasn't an open sore... Could she have possibly made a mistake?
