Last week I wrote in with my problem... my hot water heater is in the attic a good distance from the master bath and it takes a very long time to get hot water there. Several people responded that I need a return circulation line; that it is more economical than an additional hot water heater. I contacted a plumber who suggested an Ariston GL4 instant hot water system installed under the bathroom cabinet and says it would be more economical to operate than either of the alternatives. I need some feedback on this since I don't want to do something that wouldn't solve my problem.

That would work but I have a solution that does not require a return line of a new heater. Take a read Advanced Conservation Technologies: D'MAND Hot Water Systems (http://www.gothotwater.com/) This system requires a 120 volt outlet and pumps the tepid water back down the cold water line and pulls the hot water to you in seconds.

Hello Ballengerb1,
How much it cost and is this better than the Watts -premier wate recirculating pump
Amazon.com: Watts Premier Hot Water Recirculation Pump, Blue #500800: Home Improvement (http://www.amazon.com/Watts-Premier-Water-Recirculation-500800/dp/B000E78XHG)

I've never had dealings with Bobs System but it looks simple enough. You push a remote control located next to the fixture you wish to use and the pump clicks on. With the Watts System the pump's controlled by a timer and there's hot water at every fixture whenever the pumps on. I'd say it all boils down to cost. Ballengerb1's system has a price range of from $386 up to $829 while the Watts System would cost $200.
For my money it's got to be the Watts System. Regards, Tom
