Just moved into a house been there two months and the other tenant and I are splitting up. We are both on the lease as tenants listed as and/or. For example Smith and or Jones.
I am wanting to move and get off the lease. With the tenants listed as and/or, am I legally able to give my notification and leave without paying the balance of the lease when the other tenant is living there?

If the other tenant and landlord will agree to let you out of it.
