For reasons that are VERY VERY unbearable... I ask this question: Can you give up your parental rights in the state of Kentucky and still be responsible for child support?

I don't think you can terminate yours rights just because you feel like it. If the mother ask you to then you can. Unless you are abusing the child or the child is in danger in any way then I don't think so. Are you doing this just to get out of pay your child support?

And if your rights are terminated then you will not be responsible for child support.

There are restricted reasons rights can be taken away, Seldom will the judge allow rights to be just "given up" but then the one parent does not have to use any of those rights.

But yes, except in the reason that the child is to be adopted by a new partner, the person can still owe child support
