I had a boyfriend a while back, when I met another guy at a club who was really interested in me.
He texted me loads but I wasn't really interested as I had my boyfriend.
But then me and my boyfriend broke up and I got really close to the new guy.
So me and him were texting loads and he would reply instantly.

Now he doesn't text me first I always have to text him, he does reply straight away still but he never tries to meet up.
Why would someone text you loads then stop texting, but when you text them reply instantly but not try to meet them anymore?
Its really confused me because surely if he liked me then he would want to meet or if he didn't like me he wouldn't text back so quickly.
Any ideas?

We like being chased. It makes an ego feel good. Back off, and let them chase you for a change.

I really, really, really, really HATE the way these texting devices mess up people's concept of communication and what constitutes someone doing something wrong or not.

You actually think it's OK to think ill of someone who doesn't instantly respond to a text message? Seriously?

If what you have to say is THAT important, call him directly and TALK to him. Get mad about him not answering questions you ask him directly.

Texting is so impersonal. The idea that you get to ask people things 24/7 through a text and they must answer immediately... well, just the IDEA is rude.

I hate texting... I don't reply unless it's important!

Yeah, texting is stupid, I hate it, it never shows any real emotions. Just call! Set a date, ask him out, see what happens. That's it!

Texts should not be use to have conversations, but only short phares like"goodnite".

I hate when my ex used to text me, especially when I did not want to speak to him The first thing he did was text.

If you like him why don't you just call and if he don't answer leave a voictmail its better than a text because texts are for kids and people who are not able to express themselve so they feel comfortable texting it then saying it.
