Performed a tune up on lawn tractor. Started it up, ran for 3 seconds and stopped. It looks as oil is coming from muffler area. Did I blow a head gasket, I don't know. Can you can me why oil is coming from the muffler.

I had this happen to me once on a push mower after taking the blade off and sharpening it then reinstalling. Apparently at some point I tipped the mower over a little too far and oil got up into muffler the same as if I had added too much oil. Unfortunately that mower never worked again I had to buy a new one. You need to get the oil out of the combustion chamber so the gas and air mixture can ignite from the spark of the plug... if you are handy I'd say open up the thing since it's a more expensive model. Or you could try draining the oil, taking the spark plug out and pouring engine cleaner in through that.

Did you have the engine tilted for an extended period, if so, the oil could have seeped into the muffler. You can remove the muffler, clean it out, then start over with making sure your oil level is correct.
