I'm 18 living in TN. What documents do I need ONLY to get an ID card? I don't drive. My most recent form of ID is an expired permit of 3-4 yrs ago.

I know I'd need my birth cert, but what else?

If you were born in the US you need an original birth certificate.

Did you not click on my link at all??

The right of the page gave an LONG list of what was needed for an ID.

Proof of citizenship ( passport, birth certiicate)
Proof of ID, this also can be birth certificate.

One other form of ID, this can be a social security card, school ID card, or something from that list.

Then you have to have TWO papers that prove where you live, bank report, or pay stub if it has your address on it.
