My new outdoor ceiling fan has a receiver that has 2 blacks and 1 green. The black wires both have tags on them that say they shouldn't be attached to the neutral white. The switch that used to operate a ceiling light has a switch with the traditional white and black. I'm stumped. I have attached a diagram of my receptacle. Thanks for your help. Paul

You might find some information on them that may be helpful to you. Hopefully, someone will come along who can directly answer your question.

You're talking about the wall control, not a receiver.

Connect it to the two wires that were previously connected to your old wall switch. If the control doesn't operate properly, reverse the two wires. You should be fine.
