MY new ceiling fan's wiring includes a white, black, blue and a green (which I know is the ground.) My ceiling pre wiring has a white(uncapped), a red and a black(capped) and also a green. Do I match the blue with the red? There are no real instructions regarding the wiring in th ceiling fan instructions. Any correct info would be appreciated.

Green to Green(ground), White to White(neutral), Black on fan is fan, and blue on fan is to light/kit.
At the ceiling The red may be switched by a switch and be for light, the black MAY be switched, and be for fan, or the black is constant hot. If black is constant6 hot, you could hook to fan and it would work with pull switch.
If you find only 1 wire is switched, you could hook black and blue from fan to red in ceiling(Leave black capped, Then they both switch together depending on pull chain setting.
