Do you think the health Care access in the U.S have made the system better or worse? Why?
What are ways to reduce the expenses in the U.S health care system to allow for more universal coverage?
Do you think the financial stress/pressure has any effect on the current health conditions of American? How or why not?

I think that access to health care doesn't make the system better or worse but it is instead a function of the system itself. Is access less than ideal? Yes. If we improve access will we improve health care? Yes, if we don't change the system for the worse to increase access. Ex. We lower the standards for medical licensure to allow more doctors to practice in an effort to increase access to healthcare.

Expenses could be reduced by placing limits on medical malpractice liabilty claims and by doing away with third party payment systems.

Of course financial stress has an effect on current health conditin of Americans. It is a well- kown fact that stress has many deleterious health effects: high blood pressure, heart disease, and depression to name a few.
