I had blood work done and my ast was 57. Is that bad. Do you think it could be from diet coke or splenda. I am on atenolol for high blood pressure. Any help would be great. The doctor wants o repeat the blood work in a month.

If you can possibly stop drinking any form of diet anything and using splenda that would help. Would suggest you read up on aspertame and see if you don't think so also. It is not good for your body - either product. If you need some sweetener try stevia instead. It is not a chemical toxic like aspertame is.
