I've had gray hair since I was in college (a little here & there). Then when I got older and there was more gray than I wanted so I started coloring it. When I turned 40, I felt that it was time to go all natural because it was too much trouble. I discovered that I had a beautiful shade of gray and I get complements every where I go.

HOWEVER, I live in Georgia and the water has a touch of Red Georgia Clay in it. My stylist sells me a very expensive shampoo that I've been using for nearly a year now and still the top layer of my hair has a yellowish orange. My stylist said "that's just something you get in Georgia". However, her expensive shampoo is not working. I need something else - do you have any suggestions?:(

You might want to try out a violet toner. It neutralises the yellow. See if that works? They can be purchased from most beauty shops.

But if you find that you have more orange than yellow, then purchase an ash bases toner instead.
