Does anyone know how many grams are in 232.5 kilograms?

Judging from your posts, I think you need a lesson in dimensional analysis.
If you have a unit that you want to convert and you know a few conversions like:
12 in = 1 foot
3 feet = 1 yard
and you need to convert 6 inches to yards, write the conversions so that the units cancel.
e.g.
6 inches X 1 foot... X 1 yard
... ______... _____
... 12 inches... 3 feet
When you cancel units, the unit on top cancels with the one on the bottom,
you get 6 inches = (6/(12*3)) yards.
Hint for your problem: 1000 g = 1 kg

Oh how I hate dimensional analysis!! So confusing.
If you know that there are 1000 g in a kg than multiply your kg by 1000, voilą, it's that easy.

The 232.5 notation means 232½
1 Kg = 1000 grams or 1 000 gram, not 1.000 grams (which means 1 gram)
So 232.5 Kg = 232½ Kg = 232500 grams or 232 500 grams.

1 kg = 1000gms. Or let's say 1 gm = .0001 kg.. Now you can calculate

Incorrect : 1 gm = .0001 kg? No. 1 gm = .001 kg (better written as 0,001 kg).
Kilo means thousand, and in the case of a kilogram it means thousand grams.
