How do you remove and replace the brake light bulb at the rear window? 1999 Camry
The cover is removed from inside by prying upward on the forward edge with a flat tipped tool. The retainers are on that forward edge, and once it's released, you can slide the cover away and replace the bulb.
These covers can fit quite tightly, so some effort will be needed to release the retainers.
