log(2x+1)=log(4x-5)

Suppose you used the logs as a power of 10. Like so:

10^{log(2x+1)}=10^{log(4x-5)}

Now, what do you end up with? Something much easier to solve. Don't get befuddled when you see the logs. It's much easier to solve than you think.
