Can you furnish the make and model of each stat? Is this a heat pump system?
Need to know more about your heating cooling system, describe it.

I also asked for:

Are you telling me the stat is GE? Where did you see GE on the stat?
"Weathertron" is a old brand name of Trane equipment. If you have a Trane system you may need to contact a Trane dealer to find the correct stat. Also sounds as if you have a heat pump system, I asked but still not sure what you have. A heat pump system will have auxiliary electric heat that must be controlled also along with the compressor, important to know which control wires are for what.
Pro 8000 is a Honeywell series, and not the model number.

Big problem here! I just removed my old thermostat that goes from 45 to 75 let me remind you that this is a wall mounted heater ONLY. I just want to upgrade to my new FREE Trane z-wave electric thermostat and the new one says to hook up like 5-6 colors and when I took the old one off the wall all I have is 2 white wires and 2 black wires and they are so thick now what do I do in order for me to get this new thermostat work? PLEASE HELP
