Hello ladies,
I have a little problem concerning my period. My cycle is a 28 day cycle. My period comes on time every month. My last normal period was Feb. 20-25,2008. My next period should have been March 19-23, but I had this spotting that lasted from March 16-25. It was only when I went to the bathroom. I counted this as a period so that would make me due again on April 13-17. It is now April 28th (15 days late) and I don't even feel like my period is coming anytime soon. Oh yeah, I spotted again on April 5-6. I took 2 HPT's and they were negative. I went to the Dr. on April 24th and took a blood test and it was also negative. Not to mention, I have been nauseous for about a month, very tired, and eating everything in sight. I have 2 children already and I didn't know for the 1st 9 weeks.(urine test came back negative.) My question is, can the blood test I took @ the Dr.'s office could have been taken to early? I was told that they are 100% accurate. Thank You in Advance for your thoughts and comments.

Hi,
It all depends on the pregnant hormone levels at the time of test. Yes it is possible that the blood test was done to early, and as for the dip stick tests I have no faith in them. I took those when I knew I was pregnant and still they came out negative. The best method is the blood tests.

Hello rochell. I have a question for you. I am kind of going through the same thing as you. 14 days late signs og pregnant but all stick tests say no. I didn't feel like this with my first granted that was 7 years ago and I was younger.did both of your previouse pregs not come up till much later? I am actually going to my docs tomorrow for a blood test but I'm feel like I'm over reacting and should be patient. Any input can only help my nerves...
