C'mon, we're all guilty of Googling odd things... I'll go first... Last night I Googled "Purple Urine". The reason was that I'd watched 'Scrubs' the other night and they were talking about purple urine... so there you have it! Your turn...

I wanted to see if anybody else besides me knows why one~eyed~one~horned flying purple people eaters are purple...

I googled hushpuppy. I was craving them and wanted to find out the origin of the name.

So here it is: hunters or fishermen would fry them up fast during a fish fry or cookout and would feed them to their dogs to keep them quiet. There are several legends on it but it all came back to throwing the fried batter balls to dogs telling them, "Hush, puppies."

Gripe Water is given to babies to help them with wind and to ease the pains of colic, it has a minute amount of alcohol in it, I think its no longer available..
