O.k. my question is- we are renovating a bathroom that had one sink and the new vanity will have two. Is it possible to extend the drain to the center of the two in a y shape and still use one? My husband says no- I say I have seen it done before. Not sure if it is really the correct thing to do but have seen it done. Need some help on this one. Thank you

Don't it just make you feel sooooo good to get one up on hubby? You are correct. There is such a fitting and it's called "A Center outlet Continuous Waste". They come in two flavors. One for a stubout called a end outlet continuous waste over to one side and the one you're looking for " A Center Outlet Continuous waste, (see images) Both are legal to install. Good luck, Tom
