I, recently, bought my Grandparents house and am trying to get rid of everything in it, so that I can move in. There is a beautiful late 30's to early 40's Thomasville French provincial or french country bedroom suite. There is a double bed, 2 dressers - one with a mirror, a nightstand and a vanity. The bed has a headboard and a footboard. There is a metal plate, on the inside that says Thomasville and on the back of the furniture the numbers L-1525-12 are stamped. I have googled everything about this furniture and can't find anything about it. It seems to be solid wood - no Vaneers, it's a light and has a yellowish finish. It's not very fancy, but the headboard and footboard are arched and the all of the dressers and vanity have a bowed front. If I had a spare bedroom, I would, definitely, keep the furniture - it's beautiful and in exellant condition. I don't want to just give it away to a thrift shop - I want it to go to someone who can appreciate it. I have contacted a couple antique dealers and the only one I heard back from, told me it was deco, without looking at it. After researching, I can definitely say it is NOT deco - not even similar. I want to know, if I should keep searching for an antique dealer or just give up. Thank you.

Is it possible for you to post some images of the pieces here? Does yours look anything like the images on the pages of the following image searches? And, if so, which one(s)?

If you would like, I can help you to word ads that you can put on the Internet for free in order to attract people who would truly appreciate the furniture.

Here are a few pics, there is another dresser and a nightstand, as well. If you could give me a little advice, that would be great. So far, the best offer I got was $150.
