My ex and I split after 4 years and now he wants custody of our 13 year old son. He has done some very mean things to my son and my son has told people if he has to live with his father he will harm himself. Do I have a chance of getting supervised visits or just keeping his father away from him altogether. My son saids he hates his father and I don't want my son to do anything that he may regret later on that may get him in trouble his self. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To change the custody agreement that is in place, or to modify the current visitation order he has to go back to court. In court the boy can testify to what the father did, and can tell the court what he would prefer. You can present evidence of all of this to the court

Now if your son is threatening to hurt his-self that issue needs to be dealt with, since this is either a controlling tool or a sign of a need for counseling.
