For the last two years I have been coloring my hair a deep burgundy brown, or black purple... either way there is always a lot of red in my hair and when the color starts to fade/wash out it becomes a light cherry/brown.
My natural hair color is a medium brown with some blond in it and I wanted to go lighter for the summer and most of all get rid of the red once and for all. I know that going to a professional will be a pricey venture which I cannot afford right now.
My question is... can I get rid of the red myself with store bought products? And how do I go about this exaclty or do I have to see my hairdresser and just pay the fine? Lol

You will need to bleach the colour out. It can be a tricky process to do it at home! So it's best to leave it to a professional ;)
