Hello
I am currently trying to complete my bachelors degree, I am a biology major and am considering trying to do vet school. Is there a particular biology track that is best? How much do veterinarians make? How is it joining a practice or starting your own?
Thank you
Herz

It's always good to take some animal behavior (psych), vertebrate anatomy, and just basic overall "animal" courses.

Vets make an average of about $75k... depending on which state/area you practice. Lower half made about $50 - 60k, while upper made up to about $120k... but I have a feeling these vets specialize

Like any profession, you usually join a practice first so that you can get experience and a client basis and people can reference you, then if you want, you can start your own practice.
