I just joined this site and have a question about a yard fungus or some kind of mushroom that is growing in my yard.
Member, Ericstewart, had a similar question and I've noticed that nobody has replied to his question.
I'm going to try and attach a picture of the ones I have in one spot in my yard, any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the common mushroom I get in my yard after some good rains.

mac740 disagrees: what can be done about them?

Please let me guide you to the thread about how to use the rating system https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/forum-help/using-comments-feature-official-guidelines-24951.html

We give disagrees for answers that are factually incorrect, mine was not.

What can be done about them? My children and I have fun with them...

Get some pretty colored paper, pick the mushroom, remove the stem, make sure not to touch the fragile feathers underneath, and place the mushroom on the paper overnight... makes pretty spore paintings.

Other than that, we just mow over them. It's a natural occurrence if you live in a place with a good amount of rain and high humidity.

I pick mine using garden gloves and throw away. They will keep coming back if you mow over them. Eliminating them by throwing them away is the only answer. Don't bother trying to kill them either. Just pick and throw away.
