View Full Version : I'm angry and I hit my ex

Okay, I wrote another blog explaining everything. I hit my ex and I want to know more steps I could take to ,for lack of a better word/words, get better.

I am in counselling now for my anger, the underlying issues and impulse control and am thinking of saving for a boxing bag.

Anyone know anything else I could do?

Please don't judge me because I hit her, I'm asking for help to fix myself so please don't be too harsh.

Hitting and kicking, or the temptation to are amplified by depression.

Good for you, the road to happiness and sanity are through your therapist's office. :)

Anger and all its results such as violence and hatred are the real hell. Knowing how to deal with our negative emotions makes for heaven. :)

I would recommend taking up a sport. Anger expressed in a sport usually burns it out and makes for a good competitor. Have an activity to do every day... if only a walk with a friend.

Im really happy that you are tying to get help. There are so many people out there that don't know when they have a problem.. Good job, you've completed the hardest step and that is admitting you have a problem. I guess I don't really have much advise to give because Im not experienced in this matter but I just wanted to say good job!!

Hitting your ex is good for you. I personally use a belt. Suicide is a valid option. Please consider merging the two, I hear the Afghanese have gotten this down to an art.
