Hey guys,

I get so anxious and worried sometimes. I take medication for it but I just started taking it and I don't think it's been in my system long enough to help me..

I always think the worst will happen, especially with my boyfriend. He has had so many bad things happen to him in the past few months that sometimes I just feel like I can't take another thing.. So when he doesn't get back to me (on the phone) for a couple hours, I worry and think the worse...

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do or say to myself to stop freaking out so much? It's so annoying, I'm even shaking writing this!

What are you taking for it?
How long have you been taking it

I have the same thing happen to me. I use Bach's Rescue Remedy, for extra help when needed. It's sold over the counter at chemists and health shops. Within 5 minutes you are calm and relaxed. I swear by it! It comes in a spray and in drops. I also give it to my kids if they are nervous about something.

Well,I know how do u feel because I had the same experences before. But I told myself that if you were strong, you would be stronger and if you were weak you would be weaker. There is going to always have problem in life but fear some times is worse that what the problem is.Tell you self "I will not know untill itt happen, and I know I will be strong enough to fix it by that time"

I have had terrible anxiety problems off and on throughout my life since I was six years old. It is a very unpleasant way to live, that's for sure.

From what you have said, I would say that you are addicted to your boyfriend. You have to work on being your own person, having personal strength. Start making a little progress one day at a time, and be sure to have a therapist helping you through this difficult time.

Best wishes in 2008.
