If a tenant is evicted from a private (short assured) tenancy, does their child (aged over 18) have any rights to stay in the property?

You are in the UK?

In the US, the answer would be no - everyone is evicted. Don't know about the UK - sorry.

This might depend on the lease. If the child is a signator on the lease, it may be possible to just evict one signator. But if the child is not on the lease, then they have no rights to the property.
