I have a sears craftman 14.5 hp M# 287707 Type- 1259-e1 code 010103zd... It set up since may of 2007 , I charged the battier and put a little gas in the carb. It started but it will run full throttle only, The throttle is on low , but it still runs at full throttle. I took the carb. Off and cleaned it out good with carb. Cleaner , and it still runs full throttle . Help please!

Have you checked to see that the throttle control is moving the linkage on the carb? Check and make sure there is nothing holding the governor arm, and see if there may be a spring missing.

Thanks mowerman... the throttle linkage was hanging up, hard to see. It don't want to idle at low speed it will run for about one min. and then die... Im not sure witch one is for idle ajust.
There is a screw and another one with a plastic knob ?
