Hi - I have a Honda (HRG465) lawnmower. It starts OK and runs when stationary no problem - however it frequently cuts out when cutting the grass (especially when cutting a longer 'tuft' of grass).

It is rather frustrating - as I said it starts and idles fine. Air filter is clean + plenty fuel


Any ideas?

Could be a fouling plug. Check the spark plug, or the carb may need cleaning.

Thanks - cleaned spark plug and drained the carb. Works much better now - not perfect but useable!

Sharpening the blade will usually do wonders as well if it is an older mower and never been sharpened...
