I have a troy bilt pony riding mower about 5 years old. The mower won't start, I put it in neutral and tried to move it and it wouldn't go anywhere. It acts like it is in gear all the time, it has to be in neutral to start. I jacked it up and I can spin the wheel with my hand, but the other wheel turns the opposite direction, hence it won't move. I could use some ideas and advice. Thanks.

The other tire is suppose to move the opposite direction, hence, the "differential". When on the ground the tires will go the same way.

My troybilt pony riding mower just stop moving during me cutting the grass. It cranks right up but I have no forward or reverse. Also, if I turn ut off and put it in forward, it usually will stay put. Like a brake.. It still rolls in a slant..
