I have a 3 year old male cat who we all love lots , but we want a puppy boxer , is there any chance they would get along. Any advice

Can you bring a friends dog over to see how your cat reacts? It really depends on the cat, I had a cat and dog and they were best friends. It might take some time for the cat to get used to a puppy.

Expect it to take some time for them to get along. It's taken about a year for my dog and cat to get along. Also, you might be better off adopting an older dog that has been cat-tested. You don't want to get a puppy and find out that it has a high prey-drive and wants to kill your cat.
