I am in Ny since Jan 2007 ( 26th) on L1 my wife and kids 2yrs and 6yrs) are on L2. I have SSN but wife and Kids do not have SSN.

They have received their ITTIN form IRS.

When I field NYS tax ( 2007) in form 213 in SSN fileld for child I have entered as "Applied For" same was also done for my Wife in 201 form ( I have field as Married filing jointly).

NYS tax departmnet has not given Child Credit because of Missing SSN. In 213.

Kindly let me know If I can enter ITTIN number of child in place of SSN for NY State Tax to get the Child Credit or Not. If not then what I am suppose to do or what is the process

Yes, you must enter SSN or ITIN. You will file amended tax return.
