I have a Statesman 42" rider, an oldie but goodie. I use it to mow in season and pull a Cyclone Leaf Vac (great product, hands down) in the fall, so the blades get worked. I sharpen them(mulcher, so 2 lg and 2 small) 3-4- times a year, and it's no biggie, until the last time. I try to replace the blades as I found them each time.
I removed, sharpened and re-installed the blades as I always do. I balance them a bit crudely, but it's never been a problem. This last time, after a big leaf season, I took my compressor and blew leaf bits out of pullys, above the deck, etc.
The deck, once I engage the blades, really goes wild with a shimmy and such. I removed, checked balance and replaced the blades, and got the same problem.
Do I just need to replace the blades, since they've been sharpened so much?
What can you suggest, experts? I am a contractor, so if it's not bricks or wood, get myself in trouble real fast!
