So here's the situation. I am dating this guy that I'm crazy about. I met him almost a year ago a few weeks before he got deployed. We wrote letters and stayed in touch for the 7 months that he was in iraq, and when he got back 2 months ago we went out again and have been ever since. I've met most of his friends, and even flew to his hometown for a few days and met his family. The thing is, I feel really insecure about this relationship still. I don't exactly know why, and I know I just need to go with the flow but I am always overanalyzing. We have a great time together, and his friends refer to me as his girlfriend, but he is not very vocal with me about he feels. His actions tell me that he likes me a lot .but I think my insecurities come from not knowing exactly what he wants from this. I haven't wanted to jinx things by bringing up the always awkward " are we or aren't we" conversation. I know we will have to communicate about this at some point, just don't know how soon is too soon. Just need some opinions about this... should I just tell the boy I'm crazy about him? Since he is not very open, I honestly have no clue how he feels about me.? Help! :confused:

try to remember that actions speak louder than words in most situations. Some guys are hard pressed to express their feelings, me being one of them and I try to make up for it in actions etc. if he is taking all the steps to show you that he likes you and you are having a good time I wouldn't try to worry about it too much. However, overtime I suggest that you definitely ask him how he feels and make sure that you all are on the same page.

Forget the insecurities, have fun and pay attention, and get to know the guy better. Your strangers who have reconnected. Its way to early for anything else. No expectations.

Thank you, you did help. :) Always nice to hear a guy's perspective on things. We actually went out last night and had a great time and I felt we both let our guards down more. Still not exactly sure where I stand with him, but I know he does care for me.
