Hi,
I have a 5-wire bundle coming out of my wall (red, blue, green, yellow, and white). These colors went to my old honeywell T8001C. Those terminals were labeled (G, C, R, W, Y). There were also letters B and O yet, these terminals were not being used.

I purchased a new HUNTER 44860 THERMOSTAT. Theterminal designaters are totally different. They are as follows: RH, RC/R, C, Y1, Y2, W1, W2, G. There diagram designates the following: RH=heat 24v supply, RC/R=cool 24v supply, C=common 24 VAC, Y1=cool stage one, Y2=cool stage 2, W1=heat stage 1, W2=heat stage 2, G=fan control.

I have only one central air A/C unit and one forced air heater for the home.

My question: Where do the red, blue, green, yellow, and white wires hook up??

PLEASE HELP its hot out here!

Just transpose your letters from the old as provided here to the new.

You may have to jumper RH and RC. Check the manual for the new thermostat.
