Not really sure what you are asking. Just remove the cap, and pour in the fuel.

My father had a really weird self-propelled lawnmower once. It had a vertical shaft engine and the drive stuck out the side. The gas tank was the most unusual. It was about an 2" diameter pipe down the center of the handle bar. The engine might still be around.

I have a nice gas can that has a "pump" that allows you to pump gas , no pouring.

Ok, I'll bite.
If you're a city slicker now confronted with a recently unboxed shiny new piece of power equipment, read the manual that came with it. There will likely be a whole page devoted to proper fueling procedure.
In general, you purchase a red plastic container designed for storing gasoline at a home center or superstore and fill it up at a gas station typically with the lowest octane fuel. If the mower's engine is two-cycle, you then add the amount of two-cycle oil recommended in the manual. You then locate a metal or plastic tank with a screw-off top attached near the mower's engine. You pour the fuel from the container into the tank stopping before the fuel reaches the top to avoid subsequent heat from the engine overflowing the fuel during use. A funnel, also obtainable where you purchased the fuel container, helps avoid fuel getting elsewhere but the fuel tank. Replace the top and store the fuel container in a safe place away from sources of fire or heat.
You're now refilled.
If indeed you have a shiny new mower, you will probably have to fill the engine with oil too (unless it is two-cycle), also specified in the manual. The opening for this is on the lower portion of the engine often with a screw-off plastic cap with two tabs or pins.
